What Are Missions?
Missions are a daily activity you should try to complete. You are given a new mission every day from the NPC Duke, but you can only have 3 active ones at a time.
If you pass a mission, you are given Mission Credits. It's imperative that you save all of these credits — Duke will offer you rewards that refresh every 7 days.

Books
Books can only be used once per account and — unless you are a subscriber — Duke is the best way to obtain them. Do not use books right away. A majority of books should not be used for a very long time. Use the guide below to determine when the right time is.

Special ammo is the second best reward from Duke — but only buy it if you have 5,000+ credits saved. That buffer ensures that if 2 books become available in quick succession, you'll have enough credits to purchase both without missing out.
