Cash on hand is vulnerable so keep as little on you as you can. Don't lose your hard earned cash to muggings!
The Golden Rule
Never hold significant cash on hand. Store it immediately.
Players can mug you for a percentage of your cash on hand. The only safe cash is cash that's stored.
Here are options that can never be stolen as long as the money is stored:
Investment Bank
Deposit cash and earn interest. Interest rates vary by deposit term — longer terms give better rates. You can also increase the amount of interest you earn by using merits and buying the Torn City Investment stock for the perk.
- ▸You cannot withdraw at any time — you have to wait until your investment ends.
- ▸You must complete shorter lengths of time to unlock the next level. Total levels are one week, two weeks, one month, two months, and three months.
When your investment ends, re-deposit with all the money you can afford for the next highest time level.
Personal Vaults
The Palace, Castle, and Private Islands offer a vault that can be unlocked with upgrades. You can deposit and withdraw from here anytime.
You can hold multiple properties and use the vault in all of them if needed.
Stock Market
The stock market can be unlocked by spending 50 points. You can buy stocks with money to gain perks for holding a certain amount. Each stock will list what perk you get for holding X shares for X days.
You can use the stock market as a vault by buying a stock and leaving money there. When you need it, just sell the stock.
Stocks go up and down in value so there is a potential you lose money when selling to access your cash.
Recommended Stocks
Reduces education course time by 10% as long as you hold 1,000,000 shares.
Requires 1,000,000 shares
Provides 1 drug pack every 7 days when holding 500,000 shares. You can buy more to increase the amount of drug packs you receive. Great for building a Xanax supply for chaining and happy jumping.
Requires 500,000 shares
Receive 1 erotic DVD every 7 days when holding 1,000,000 shares. This will pay for itself after 3 months. Great to help with eDVD happy jumps.
Requires 1,000,000 shares
Provides a 10% bonus to bank interest if you hold 1,500,000 shares. More of a late game investment as it is very expensive.

Faction Vault
The faction has a vault you can deposit money into at any time. Go to the faction page, click on the Armory tab, type the amount you want to deposit, and click Deposit Money.
Go to Faction Armory →If you need to deposit all your money quickly, click the $ symbol next to the box and it will fill in everything you have on hand.
Withdrawing from the Vault
The vault is run by faction bankers. To request money, type /bank in Discord. Snacky will show you the amount in your vault and give you the option to request money.
The request will submit a report to all bankers to fulfill. Once completed, you will receive a message from Snacky.
